The average temperature and rainfall data is taken from MSN News and Weather
I've checked on the web for average values for rainfall and temperature. Whilst the Met Office provide charts it's quite difficult to interpret these for individual location. I find maps of the UK with no cities or towns on them dificult to use. Average rainfall data is difficult to obtain as a no cost option. I've there fore settled for using the MSN charts athough I cannot guarantee their accuracy.
